Overview

Booking travel has never been easier. With just a couple tabs or a simple message you can book all of your travel.

via Pana for iPhone

If you are using the Pana iPhone app, follow the steps below to make a booking.

  1. Tap the Book button
  2. Tap the credit card to change the payment method (you can choose from existing cards or add a new payment method).
  3. Review the traveler details and make any necessary updates
  4. Tap and hold to confirm the purchase

If you are using the Pana iPhone app, follow the steps below to make a booking.

  4. Click confirm to book.

via a simple message

You can also book anything via Pana simply by asking. If you send a message like, "please book the second flight option" your travel team will go ahead and take care for you. It's that easy!

You can go about making bookings this way if you are using SMS, email or the Pana iPhone app.

Why is my credit card getting declined?

The travel industry is ridden with fraudulent transactions, so banks and credit card companies like to be extremely cautious when they see large purchases from travel vendors (what Pana is categorized as) and often decline or block transactions just to be safe.

The fix

In order to make the booking and get around the declined card, there are a couple of different actions we'll try to take.

  1. Your travel team may ask for your zip code to reconfirm that it is still accurate. Banks and credit card companies use this as an additional security measure.
  2. Your travel team may ask you to contact your credit card company/bank so that they can remove any blocks on travel purchases made via Pana.

Contacting your bank

When you contact the credit card company or bank, ask them to lift the block on your card or stop declining transactions from Pana and instruct them that you will be making additional purchases using Pana in the future.

That's it! The misery should now be over and you'll be able to make purchases via Pana as expected. 🎉
